　　第三階段——自我表述
第7節(jié)：謹(jǐn)防茶壺煮餃子(2)

　　面試過(guò)程中最重要的部分是表述自己的學(xué)歷，工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)和資歷。這些都是和應(yīng)聘工作直接相關(guān)的。 學(xué)歷方面：如果是畢業(yè)后求職，記住學(xué)歷是在以前完成的，要用過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)。 I attended the Communication University of China from 2004 to 2008. I graduated with a degree in literature.

　　2004年至2008年，我在中國(guó)傳媒大學(xué)上學(xué)，畢業(yè)時(shí)我獲得了文學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。

　　不過(guò)小丫現(xiàn)在還是學(xué)生，所以應(yīng)用現(xiàn)在時(shí)態(tài)：

　　I am currently studying at the Communication University of China and

　　will graduate with a degree in literature.

　　現(xiàn)在我在中國(guó)傳媒大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)，將來(lái)將以文學(xué)學(xué)士的身份畢業(yè)。

　　工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)和資歷無(wú)疑是面試中最重要的部分，雇主很想知道個(gè)中的許多細(xì)節(jié)。雇主想知道你到底做過(guò)什么，做得好不好。因此不必謙虛，把最好的成績(jī)和優(yōu)點(diǎn)表達(dá)出來(lái)。

　　小丫認(rèn)為，自己在《××》時(shí)尚雜志社的工作還在繼續(xù)，因此當(dāng)談到目前在做的工作時(shí)用現(xiàn)在完成進(jìn)行時(shí)，表示不但一直在這樣做，而且將來(lái)也會(huì)持續(xù)下去：

　　××has employed me for the last 2 years，and I have been engaged in customer relations for 6 months.

　　兩年來(lái)我一直在《××》雜志社工作，最近6個(gè)月以來(lái)負(fù)責(zé)維護(hù)客

　　戶關(guān)系。

　　如果畢業(yè)后求職時(shí)，談到以前的工作時(shí)用過(guò)去時(shí)：

　　I was employed by Jackson’s Ltd. from 200 to 2008 as an office

　　manager.

　　從2005年到2008年我在杰克遜有限公司擔(dān)任辦公室經(jīng)理職務(wù)。

　　I worked as a production supervisor at the Heitz while I was living in New York.

　　不如說(shuō)：

　第四階段——最常問(wèn)的題目及應(yīng)答策略
　　（1）問(wèn): Tell me about your self .
　　請(qǐng)告訴我你的個(gè)人情況。
　答: I was born and raised in Dalian, China. I attended the University of Beijing and received my master’s degree in economics. 　　驗(yàn)是大多數(shù)面試中最重要的環(huán)節(jié)，比學(xué)歷更重要。

　　答: I am more interested in a full-time position. However, I would also consider a part-time position.

　　小丫的評(píng)語(yǔ): 盡量留最大的余地爭(zhēng)取機(jī)會(huì)。因?yàn)橹灰ぷ髂玫搅?，?后的事情就容易把握，主動(dòng)性大多了。
　　（4）問(wèn)：Can you tell me about your responsibilities at your last job?
　　請(qǐng)問(wèn)你能告訴我你上一份工作的工作職責(zé)么？
　　答：I advised customers on financial matters. After I consulted
　　the customer, I completed a customer inquiry form and catalogued
　the information in our database. I then collaborated with colleagues to
　　prepare the best possible package for the client. The clients were then
　　presented with a summarized report on their financial activities that
　　I formulated on a quarterly basis.

　　評(píng)語(yǔ): 提到過(guò)往工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)時(shí)，注意越詳細(xì)越好。最容易犯的錯(cuò)誤之一 是講過(guò)去經(jīng)歷時(shí)太過(guò)籠統(tǒng)。雇主是想知道你到底做什么以及你做得怎么樣，你講得越詳細(xì)，他們就越能知道你是否在行。你可以 換著用一些不同的詞匯來(lái)形容，而且盡量不要每句話都用“I”開頭。記得用過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)。

　　答：I work well under pressure. When there is a deadline（a time by which the work must be finished）, I can focus on the task at hand（currentproject） and structure my work schedule well.

　　評(píng)語(yǔ): 對(duì)這個(gè)問(wèn)題你要事前做研究，通過(guò)看公司網(wǎng)站，了解其他相關(guān)
　　信息，越了解公司， 對(duì)你越有利。

　　你什么時(shí)候能開始工作？
　答：Immediately.
　馬上。
　　答：As soon as you would like me to begin.
　　一旦你想要我開始工作，我就能馬上開始。
　評(píng)語(yǔ): 充分表示你想要工作，以上只是一些最基本的面試問(wèn)答。
　　第五階段——你要問(wèn)的問(wèn)題
　　面試時(shí)招聘人員總會(huì)問(wèn)你：“Do you have any questions?”問(wèn)招聘人員問(wèn)題，對(duì)你的印象分有幫助，因?yàn)榭梢燥@示你是一個(gè)用心的人。一般來(lái)說(shuō)，圍繞著這些話題來(lái)問(wèn)比較得體： the competitive environment in which the organization operates
　　公司營(yíng)運(yùn)所處的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)環(huán)境。
　executive management styles
　　管理高層的風(fēng)格。
　　what obstacles the organization anticipates in meeting its goals
　　公司在達(dá)到其目標(biāo)過(guò)程中預(yù)計(jì)會(huì)遇到什么障礙。
　　how the organization’s goals have changed over the past three to five years
　　公司的經(jīng)營(yíng)方向在過(guò)去三到五年內(nèi)有什么變化。
　　第一次面試，或者在雙方未有確定的意向以前，除非是已經(jīng)到了簽OFFER的階段，最好不要問(wèn)待遇如何。那樣顯得你更關(guān)心公司能為你做么，
　　而不是你能為公司做什么。
　　具體來(lái)說(shuō)，你可以問(wèn)以下問(wèn)題：
　1. What are the main objectives and responsibilities of the position?
　　這個(gè)職位的主要工作目標(biāo)和職責(zé)是什么？

　　1. Why are you leaving your present job?

　2. Describe what you feel to be an ideal working environment.

　　小丫的回答： The ideal working environment to me is a challenging and fun workplace.
　　對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō)，最理想的工作環(huán)境應(yīng)該是充滿挑戰(zhàn)和樂(lè)趣的地方。
　　. How would you evaluate your present firm?
　　你如何看待你現(xiàn)在工作的企業(yè)？
　　如果不是因?yàn)橛惺裁催^(guò)失或矛盾而要離開現(xiàn)在的公司，那么最好說(shuō)說(shuō) 現(xiàn)在公司好的一 面。
　　小丫的回答： It’s an excellent company that is regarded as one of the industry leaders.

　　4. In your current or last position, what features did you like the most? Least?Why?

　　對(duì)最喜歡的部分照實(shí)說(shuō)，對(duì)最不喜歡的事情，由于始終是你職責(zé)的一 部分，你最好用積極的方式來(lái)說(shuō)明。
　　小丫的回答： In my last job I had to report what I do to my manager on a daily basis. I think that I am very organized and self-supervised so daily report is not the best way of using the time of both.
